The Richfield Advisory Board of Health is a resident advisory board comprised of seven Richfield residents with an interest in community health. They are responsible for advising and making recommendations to the City Council on matters relating to the development, funding, and evaluation of community health services and programs. They meet seven times a year and have been instrumental in tobacco policy changes and are now working toward developing cannabis education and youth prevention information for Richfield residents.

Promoting and safeguarding public health is a collaborative effort that relies on both community input and proactive leadership. In Richfield, dedicated residents work together to ensure that local health initiatives reflect the needs and priorities of the people they serve. Their commitment has led to significant progress in areas that impact the well-being of all community members.

The Richfield Advisory Board of Health is a dedicated group of several residents committed to advancing community health. Serving as an advisory body, the Board provides informed guidance and recommendations to the City Council regarding the development, funding, and evaluation of community health services and programs. Meeting regularly throughout the year, the Board has played a key role in shaping impactful tobacco policies. It is currently focused on expanding cannabis education and youth prevention initiatives for the benefit of all Richfield residents.
